The Planet Forums > no message size limit Exim 4.24-30

Well… just add this to the first custom field in the Exim (advanced view) config editor. That way cpanel will keep it through exim updates. (You can also make the change manually to /etc/exim.conf – but you’ll have to do it again every time Exim gets updated, or your exim config changes.)

# Default is 50M
message_size_limit = 11M

Change “11M” to “3M” or whatever size you want it to be. This will make Exim not accept any emails that are over the size limit. Remember that attachments are going to be smaller than the final email size, because of the 7 bit encoding for binaries in email.
